“There is no team without trust” the highest-performing teams have one thing in common: psychological safety, the belief that you won’t be punished when you make a mistake. When the workplace feels challenging but not threatening, teams can sustain the broaden-and-build mode.

The Programme Includes:

Webinar 1- Introduction to Psychological Safety

• How do we define Psychological Safety and where does the concept come from?

• What Psychological Safety isn’t - common misconceptions. 

• Psychological Safety survey 

• Interpersonal risk and working culture - what gets in the way?

Individual Assignment

  • Each participant will watch a short video - Susan David on Psychological Safety
  • The task is to reflect on their own Psychological Safety survey that they completed during the session and make a note of 3 small things they can do to start to move towards higher levels of psychological safety.

Webinar 2 -  Benefits of High Psychological Safety within Teams

• Five effective team behaviours

• Stories from the frontline - where Psychological Safety makes the difference

• Benefits of Psychological Safety for organisations, teams, & individuals

• Bringing out our best thinking and challenging what limits us

Individual Assignment

  • Each participant will watch 2 videos - Brene Brown on Vulnerability and Amy Edmondson on Why Psychological Safety is important. 
  • The task is to write a list of 6 bullet point “takeaways” from the two talks combined (What struck them as interesting, valuable, and relevant to them that they’d like to remember?)
