ProAge are a member-driven UK charity focused on age inclusion in the workplace. Through facilitative leadership, they help organisations to create working environments where the skills and experiences of older workers are valued and utilised to leverage the power of multigenerational collaboration, improve profitability, and create stronger, innovative teams.
ProAge works tirelessly to dismantle the age-related barriers that many older workers face, promoting policies and practices that support diversity and inclusivity of age. Age-diverse teams bring a wealth of experience, knowledge, and perspectives that can spur creativity and innovation.
When workers of all ages feel valued and included, they are more likely to be engaged and committed to their roles. This leads to reduced turnover rates and the preservation of institutional knowledge, which can be costly to replace.
Through various initiatives, such as workshops, advocacy campaigns, and partnerships with businesses, ProAge aims to shift societal attitudes and corporate policies towards a more inclusive approach. By highlighting the benefits of age diversity and providing resources to both employers and employees, ProAge is paving the way for a more equitable and dynamic workplace.
