Training Project
To invest significantly in the education, self-development and growth of employees through the provision of a structured programme of Management Training courses that will equip each individual with the skills, knowledge and capability to meet potential personal and professional development requirements.
Training Solution & Result
This project remains ongoing and so far Maguire has delivered training to over 700 delegates. Working closely with the HR team, Maguire constructed a competency based modular programme at two levels: 'core skills' and 'masterclass'. Managers were initially trained in how to conduct a Personal Development & Training Review meeting (PDTR). This ensured the selection process for potential delegates on courses was accurate and relevant.
The series of 'core skills' and 'masterclass' modules form part of the overall programme of events contained in the corporate training strategy. Naturally, over the last four years both the content and structure of each module has evolved to continually meet changing business demands.
By covering subjects from leadership and motivation to project Management Training and personal effectiveness, each providing a range of tools for enhanced personal performance, employees have been able to demonstrate better planning skills, a more consistent Management Training style and adopt a broader range of tools for thinking and problem solving. Additionally, they have displayed an increased awareness of the need to ensure that the rigorous performance Management Training monitoring and evaluation systems that are in place are managed effectively.
