Using video, this programme will equip managers with the ability to prepare thoroughly for presentations and be able to convey their message confidently and competently, involving their audience and fielding questions expertly. These training courses require that delegates should come to the course with a short presentation that they have prepared in advance, in their normal style and using their normal method.
Maguire Training can also offer development training courses for you and your staff, which involve the elements of assessments and workshops which create an innovative approach to training. Areas that will be covered in this course would include managing the human resources component of organisational change and identifying the potential and development needs of your key people in the organisation. In addition, on these training courses delegates can expect to develop corporate and departmental training plans and learn how to apply this to their everyday working lives. This course can be taken over a period of one, two or three days and it can be targeted at key skills critical for the immediate development of your organisation. Making the most of the time in your day

These training courses work with the main aim of this one day programme being that delegates can assess their strengths and weaknesses as time managers. During the course, the manager delegates who attend will be issued with a 'time log' questionnaire prior to attending the programme. This log will then be used on the day of the course for case study analysis for the benefit of the delegates.

Team Building

Why not take your team through a truly unique experience? The Challenger Learning Centres were conceived by the bereaved families of the 1986 Challenger shuttle crew as a memorial to their loved ones. Originally designed to inspire school students to learn maths and science, the centres are also available for corporate use and allow organisations to discover the parallels between space missions and normal working environments.
At the Leicester Challenger Centre we will put your managers through a fully manned space mission that will be facilitated by Maguire and trained NSC Flight Directors.

The two groups will be assigned in order to man Mission Control and the Space Station, they will be given mission objectives to achieve. They will take on specific roles such as Medical Officer, Astronaut or Probe Engineer and will receive detailed feedback on the mission after it is completed.
After a short break the Mission Control and the Space Station teams will switch roles and run a second mission following further feedback and analysis. Lunch will be served after completion of both missions. During both missions the emphasis is on co-operation, working together towards a common purpose and fun.

Initial Meeting - The main aim of this meeting is to gather as much information as possible regarding the type and style of training or service required, objectives and timing, together with information on the business, its culture and people. Our Client Directors will be happy to attend further meetings to ensure the brief is fully satisfied.

The Proposal - This is submitted for client approval, following which, information or lesson plans, course notes and support material are constructed in line with the training, business solution or event strategy and objectives.

On Site Research - Generally, a Maguire consultant will visit the client company prior to training or an event taking place. Our objective would be to research quality information from potential delegates, which would ensure the content is relevant and a more meaningful experience is created.

Training or Business Service Delivery - Often, company training / board / meeting rooms provide the venue or Maguire will be happy to source a specific venue in the shape of a hotel or conference / training centre for you.
